SNAD or Significantly Not As Described.
One of the major problems for the vacation rentals travel industry lately is how to get the clients to trust private properties which are not strictly obliged to respect standards, I'm taking inspiration from the following articles on The Wall Street Journal and The Cottage Blogger.
Here is how:
1- We publish our standard description clearly separated from the owner's comments (see for example loft and terrace apartment Rome view)
2- In Rome we visit each and everyone of our apartments (otherwise how could we double check on the advertised terrace apartment near Campo dei Fiori?)
3- We publish renters' genuine feedbacks (see for example apartment coliseum as opposed to less enticing comments on Apartment Pantheon Rome)
4- We're nudging owners to publish videos of their apartments on youtube that we link to (see apartment merulana and apartment piazza vittorio).
Any tips and suggestions on what else to be done to address the issue are very welcome!
